Starting soon...
...is an after-school programme that I am running at two high schools during the 26/27 school year.
In a MEDDL, teams of high school students MEDDL researchers ("MEDDLRs") investigate emerging technologies, prototype real tools for use at school, and support deployment and scaling of prototypes that are succesful.
In this first year, we are focussing our investigation on large language models.
We ask...
- What do MEDDLRs learn from taking part?
- What technology are we really able to develop in a MEDDL?
- What impacts does running a MEDDL have on the rest of the school community?
Updates
After almost a year of preparation we're finally there... the MEDDLs are starting in two local high schools!
